best non stick cookware set under 2500 in India

Choosing a non-stick cookware set under ₹2,500 means balancing coating durability, piece count, and induction compatibility
The IMPEX Granite 6-piece set (id 92287) at ₹1,329 with 4.2/5 from over 4,000 reviews is the standout pick here — that rating on that volume of reviews is genuinely trustworthy, not a fluke. The 5-layer granite coating is meaningfully more durable than standard PTFE on budget sets, and induction compatibility makes it future-proof. You're saving almost ₹1,200 versus your budget ceiling without sacrificing real-world performance. The main honest caveat: at this price point, the aluminium body will be thinner than premium brands like Hawkins Futura or Prestige, so heat distribution won't be perfectly even — keep flame on medium. The Flipkart SmartBuy 3-piece at ₹1,600 has no induction support, making it a worse deal for fewer pieces at a higher price.
Good for: Anyone furnishing a basic Indian kitchen on a tight budget who wants a full set with induction compatibility and reasonable coating longevity.
Skip if: Anyone who cooks on high heat regularly or wants a set that will last 5+ years — at this price, coating wear within 2-3 years with daily use is realistic; consider Prestige or Hawkins Futura if longevity matters more than upfront cost.
This never changes the price you pay, and it's never the reason this option was suggested.
